Hey Ron. Happen to know what type of Egret you photographed? It looks a lot like Great Egrets found here in the States. Nice images! I too like the butterfly.

I think it is called an Intermediate Egret, about two thirds the size of our Great Egret. In my bird book they look similar, only the size varies to my eye!

Jealous of butterfly pictures, huh?? I think you have been hiding some back just to show off…this butterfly shot is amazing! Wow! I also love that egret…either it is small or the grass is very long! I want more butterflies like that one! 🙂

The bird was small and the grass tall, all the rain don’t ya Know!

The butterfly was taken hand held as I was walking throught the Bunya Bush!

That butterfly is remarkable. Love the flat wings – very different perspective!

Nice piece of quartz, and I like how the leaves and twigs and such pick up the colors in the veins of the quartz.

A great butterfly shot…so nice to look at summer instead of getting snowblind!

The butterfly shot is especially fine! I love the angle you took. Pretty darn great for a hand held shot!!
