Back to the Flora

Posted by danudin on November 19, 2010

Smellies sorry Jullie Flowers seem to be the best thing for me to post at least until I get back to my favourite Dog Park this weekend.LOL I find these particular selections very pleasing to my eye.

Doris expressed a wish to be able to hear a Butcherbird sing, so I had a quick look around on the web and have added a link to my Butcherbirds in a better light post, which does their talent justice. Go and have a listen at that post, it is beautiful sound.

Oh no, Ron! Smellies! But, you did hit the jackpot with them. I especially like the silhouette with the tree and the yellow flower. You really brought out the fragility of the petals there and I just like the overall feeling of the tree one.

  2. Im happy that you decide to show us some flowers 😉 You capture them nicely to

All are just spectacular…love the cheerful colors – they have brightened my morning! My favorites are the last two…I love how unique those buds (?) are and the contrast in color to the background green…and that tree, wow, what it must feel like to be surrounded by all of that beauty! NICE flowers (or in your world, smellies)!

  4. They are all so gorgeous. I, too, love those buds?? They contrast well with the background. The tree is outstanding as is the orange flower. Fabulous work.

  5. Love the tree image with the water and colorfull sky!

All lovely captures Ron. I especially like the abstract quality of the 3rd flower against the lines of the grasses and the tree scenic is just awesome!
I stopped to listen to the music of the Butcherbirds – you live in a magical world!

Always a treat to visit your site!

This series shows wonderful depth of field and range. I especially love dainty bloom and dune burr. Great shots! The delta dusk is another favorite and would look great enlarged and framed. What a spring you are having!!
