Bench revisited 2
Posted by danudin on March 8, 2010
Sally is of the opinion that it doesn’t look like a bench, until you are right on it, that is true and compounds the difficulty of showing it properly. The setting is an ideal place for u[ to 8 people to just sit in the sun, and enjoy the myriad sounds of this wonderful little oasis, in Urban Redcliffe. The second shot show my darling Sally giving perspective and size. She is slender but you can see it is no small thing. The last shot is a cheeky little Lorikeet, who was going to clear off, before I could get a good shot of him.

that’s good, nowI can understand the size of it better , thanks for showing π
it’s always like that, I take a photo and know exactly how and what it looks like for real but to others it’s totally different. Sometimes we need something to compare the “thing” with, like a person or, in many of my photos, a dog π
Have a nice day!!

and I wrote a long comment, where did that go?
anyway thanks for showing the bench so one can see the size of it. Sometimes we are so sure everyone understands but, anyway notme, sometimes have difficulties with sizematters…. thts why a person , or in my photos a dog :-), is a good reference. Besiges we now can se the peaceful surroundings to π
Thanks for showing

Found it, it went into my spam folder, don’t know why when this one made it, I don’t understand wordpress so for this one you get to make two comments. Thanks for taking the trouble to resend.

My favorite is Sally on the bench…it just looks so reflective (and of course, your Sally brightens any picture)! The lorikeets are a close second though…I still would love to see those colorful birds out and free!

Hi Ron,
Great pictures. I like the one of Sally. Gives a better perspective of the bench. The Lorikeets are beautiful! Have a great day!

Great pictures Ron, the perspective with Sally on the bench is really cool as we can tell the actual size.

Nice to see Sally but if her feet don’t touch the ground it can’t be a very comfortable bench. Lucky you to have such wonderful models, human and avian!

Hi, Sally! Thanks for posing! You sitting there really does put this monster (the bench, not Ron) into perspective.

Yeah, if it was me it would have been Ogre or maybe Moorlock or even Orc!

It did look more like some sort of a hut to me, until your lovely Sally demonstrated its functionality.
